How Our Handmade Skincare Is Made

See how we craft each of our products: cold process soaps cured for 8-10 weeks, whipped body butters, and whipped sugar scrubs — all made by hand with grass-fed beef tallow in Mount Morris, Michigan.

Our cold process soap starts with grass-fed beef tallow, shea butter, coconut oil, olive oil, and castor oil. Each batch is mixed by hand, poured into molds, hand-cut into bars, and then cured for 8 to 10 weeks. Curing lets the bar harden and become milder, so it lasts longer in the shower and is gentler on your skin.

Our whipped body butter is an anhydrous (water-free) blend of grass-fed beef tallow and jojoba oil whipped until light and fluffy. Because there is no water, there's no need for harsh preservatives — just concentrated moisture that melts into the skin.

Our whipped sugar scrubs combine sugar with tallow, jojoba oil, arrowroot powder, and kaolin clay so they exfoliate and moisturize in one step. Everything is made in small batches in Mount Morris, Michigan, and hand-labeled before it goes out the door.
